Katherine Frizzell Jones

Funeral services for Mrs. Katherine Frizzell Jones, age 59, a resident of the Flynn's Lick community of Jackson County, TN, will be held Saturday, June 7, 2008, at 2 P.M. at Anderson - Upper Cumberland Funeral Home in Gainesboro, TN. Burial will follow in the John L. Clark Memorial Cemetery in the Stone Community of Jackson County. The family will receive friends on Thursday from 5 P.M. - 9 P.M., Friday from 5 - 9 P.M. and on Saturday from 9 A.M. until time of services. Mrs. Jones passed away on Thursday, June 5, 2008, at her residence. She was born May 5, 1949, in Jackson County, TN, to the late Charles Hubert (Hub) Frizzell and Ollie Frances Gipson Frizzell. On July 2, 1966, she was married to Larry Jones, who survives. She was a sewing machine operator, seamstress, and a member of the Flynn's Creek Church of Christ. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by 1 Daughter: Angela Jones. Survivors include her husband: Larry Jones of Gainesboro, TN; 1 Son: David Jones of Gainesboro, TN; 2 Grandchildren: Megan and Courtney Jones; Special Friend: Jeanetta Schultz; 1 Brother and Sister-in-Law: Edward (Tom) and Sylvia Frizzell of Nashville, TN; and 5 Sisters and 4 Brothers-in- Law: Virginia Stafford, Sue and Melvin Jared, and Ann and Omer Wylie, all of Gainesboro, TN; Linda and Joe Lynn of the Willette community of Macon County, TN; and Thelma and Dennis Strong of Cookeville, TN. Other relatives and friends also survive. Bro. Jimmy Anderson and Bro. Rex Moorer will officiate at the services.
