Funeral services for Mrs. June B. Flatt, 72, of Cookeville, TN, will be held at 11 A.M. on Saturday, May 13, 2017, at Anderson - Upper Cumberland Funeral Home in Gainesboro, TN. Burial will follow in the Sam Flatt Cemetery on Shepardsville Hwy. in Jackson County, TN. The family will receive friends on Friday from 3 P.M. - 8 P.M., and on Saturday from 9 A.M. until time of services. She passed away on Wednesday, May 10, 2017, at Cookeville Regional Medical Center. She was born June 27, 1944, in Sussex, England, to the late Anthony Hale and Joyce Hale. On September 29, 1973, she was married to the late Ray Everette Flatt, who passed away May 22, 2015. She was a homemaker. Survivors include 2 Sons: Steven (Michelle) Flatt of Lawrenceburg, TN, and Simon Flatt of Trenton, FL; 1 Daughter: Kellie (Tony) Nash of Cookeville, TN; 14 Grandchildren; 2 Great Grandchildren; 2 Brothers: Roger Darlow and Denis Darlow, both of England; 1 Sister: Valerie (Terry) Field of England; and In-Laws: Carl and Betty Flatt, Joyce Wiggins, Harry Scarlett, and George Pergande. Several nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends also survive. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Putnam County Humane Society by contacting the funeral home.
