Julia Idell Hammock

Funeral services for Mrs. Julia Idell Hammock, 71, of Gainesboro, Tennessee, will be held at 2 P.M. on Wednesday, November 20, 2013, at Anderson - Upper Cumberland Funeral Home in Gainesboro, TN. Burial will follow in the Lynn Cemetery in the Burristown community of Jackson County, TN. The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 3 P.M. - 8 P.M., and Wednesday from 12 noon until time of services. She passed away on Sunday, November 17, 2013 at the Livingston Regional Hospital in Livingston, TN. She was born November 27, 1941, in Jackson County, TN, to the late Marshal and Gertie Boles Anderson. She was a retired factory worker from Nielsen and was a member of the Burristown Assembly of God. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by 1 Grandchild: Kaitlin Michelle Sevier; 2 Brothers: Odell Anderson and Lyndol Carl Hammock; and 2 Sisters: Ina Phillips and Estelle Boles. Survivors include 2 Daughters: Angela Beach and Carol Sevier, both of Gainesboro, TN; 1 Grandchild: Kristin Sevier of Gainesboro, TN; 1 Great-Grandson: Noah Ryan Simmons; 5 Brothers: Winell, James, Paul, and Olen Anderson all of Gainesboro, TN, and Ernest Anderson of Dayton, OH and 3 Sisters: Jewel Scott and Wanda Anderson, both of Dayton, OH and Izell Noble of Dice, KY.
