Judy Haney Long

Funeral services for Judy J. Haney Long, 78, of the Shiloh community of Jackson County, TN, will be held at 2 P.M. on Friday, September 25, 2020, at Anderson Upper Cumberland Funeral Home in Gainesboro, TN. Burial will follow in the John Young Cemetery in Jackson County, TN. The family will receive friends on Thursday from 4 P.M. - 8 P.M., and Friday from 10 A.M. until time of services. She passed away on Tuesday, September 22, 2020, at Cookeville Regional Medical Center. She was born April 20, 1942, in Jackson County, TN, to the late Frank C. Haney and Frances Meadows Haney. She worked for 25 years at Heavy Duty Manufacturing in Gainesboro, and was a member of the Shiloh Church of Christ. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by 4 Brothers: Herbert Haney, Aaron Haney, Ken Haney, and Marshal “Bud” Haney; and 2 Sisters: Dorothy McKennis and Darlene Williams. Survivors include 2 Sons: Ray Long and companion, Denise Dyer of Red Boiling Springs, TN, and Steve Long and wife, Ruthie of Columbia, KY; 11 Grandchildren; 19 Great Grandchildren; and 2 Sisters: Shirley Hensley of Cookeville, TN, and Mary Hammock of Baxter, TN. Kelly Stockton will officiate at the services.
