Funeral services for Mrs. Judy C. Sutton, 71, of Gainesboro, TN, will be held at 1 P.M. on Monday, March 13, 2017, at Anderson - Upper Cumberland Funeral Home in Gainesboro, TN. Burial will follow in the John L. Clark Memorial Cemetery in the Stone community of Jackson County, TN. The family will receive friends on Sunday from 2 P.M. to 6 P.M., and on Monday from 10 A.M. until time of services. She passed away on Friday, March 10, 2017, at her residence. She was born June 24, 1945, in Woodbury, TN, to Mary Lee Bowen and the late Arch Bowen. On October 2, 1978, she was married to the late Charles Wayne Sutton, who passed away January 3, 1998. She was a clothing factory manager, and a member of the New Hope Baptist Church. She loved gardening, growing flowers, and spending time with her grandchildren. In addition to her husband and father, she was preceded in death by 2 Brothers: Johnny Bowen and Steve Bowen. Survivors include 2 Daughters: Lee (Chris) Carter of Gainesboro, TN, and Tonya Worrell of La Vergne, TN; 5 Grandchildren: Jaycie Carter, Allie Carter, Kaylee Carter, Kyle Worrell, and Austin Worrell; 1 Great Grandchild: Mason Worrell; her Mother: Mary Lee Bowen of Woodbury, TN; and 1 Sister: Ruth (Roy) Rowland of Yulee, FL.
