Funeral services for Mrs. Judy A. Heady, 66, of Gainesboro, TN, will be held at 1 P.M. on Tuesday, October 4, 2016, at Anderson - Upper Cumberland Funeral Home in Gainesboro, TN. Burial will follow in the Pharris Cemetery in the McCoinsville community. The family will receive friends on Monday from 3 P.M. - 9 P.M., and Tuesday from 10 A.M. until time of services. She passed away on Sunday, October 2, 2016, at her residence. She was born January 26, 1950, in Jackson County, TN, to the late Logan Rush and Ova Daniels. She was married to the late Sam R. Heady, who passed away February 17, 2016. She worked for UCHRA, and was a member of the Dudney's Hill Church of Christ. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by 1 Son: Christopher Thomas Heady; 1 Daughter: Heather Fields; and 1 Sister: Patty Whitaker. Survivors include 1 Daughter: Laresha Barlow of the Dodson Branch community of Jackson County, TN; 5 Grandchildren: Alainey Watson, Macy Meadows, Nolan Young, Alex Barlow, and Jaylan Rose; 3 Brothers: Duane (Marguerite) Rush of Cookeville, TN, Bobby Rodgers of Sparta, TN, and Joey (Mamie) Hunter; 4 Sisters: Sherrie (Bill) Trisdale of Gainesboro, TN, Jenny (Ben) Anderson of Gainesboro, TN, Dean (Ron) DiSanti of Gainesboro, TN, and Carol (Jim) Duncan of Baxter, TN; Special Sister-in-Law: Barbara Scott; and Special Friends: Roy and Betty Hix.
