Juanita West

Juanita West was born March 7, 1931, in Jackson County, TN, and she passed away on Wednesday, May 31, 2023 at Livingston Regional Hospital at the age of 92.

She was the daughter of the late Willie Ace Coffee and Georgia E. Richardson Coffee. She was married to the late Robert West, who passed away February 17, 2016. She was a housewife, a resident of the Burristown community, and a member of the Cubb Creek Church of Christ.

In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by her Son: Jim Ed West; Granddaughter: Nicky Tate; Grandson: Robert Dale West; Son-in-law, Terry Tate; Brothers: Sammie Edward Coffee, James Coffee, Joe Coffee, and Billy Coffee; and Sisters: Loretta Gentry, Liza Ann Wheeler, Dorothy Ray, and Grace Hall.

Survivors include her Sons: Lee (Sharon) West of Bloomington Springs and Willie (Sandy) West of Red Boiling Springs; Daughters: Elaine Tate, Diane Ashburn, and Debbie (Buck) Anderson all of Gainesboro; Brother: Thomas Coffee of Smiths Grove, KY; Sisters: Alta Mae Brown of Bowling Green, KY, Sally B. Trout of Dayton, OH, and Kathleen Lloyd of Rockville, KY; Grandchildren: Jimmy Wayne West, Robert Meadows, Beth Shoulders, Michelle Cook, Sandra Smith, Terry Tate, Brent West, and Jhamie West; Step-Grandson: Chris Robinson; 15 Great Grandchildren; 1 Step-Great Grandson; and 4 Great-Great Grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, June 3, 2023, at 2 P.M. at Anderson Upper Cumberland Funeral Home with Bro. Toby Crowder officiating.  Burial will follow in the John L. Clark Memorial Cemetery in Gainesboro, TN. Visitation will be Friday from 4 P.M. – 8 P.M., and Saturday from 10 A.M. until time of services.
