Juanita Chaffin Herron

Juanita Chaffin Herron was born January 2, 1955 in Jackson County, TN and she passed away on Sunday, December 12, 2021 in the Cookeville Regional Medical Center at the age of 66. Juanita was the daughter of Zeb Young Chaffin and Dora Alene Martin Chaffin. She was a retired caregiver and a member of the Church of Christ. She was preceded in death by her parents, brother, Kenny Chaffin and nephew, Brad Hopkins. Survivors include brother, Robert (Janice) Chaffin of Gainesboro; sisters, Evelyn Keith (Lamar Dawson) of Gainesboro, Irene Chaffin of Gainesboro, Pat (Robert) Hopkins Cookeville and Mary Belle (Ken) Denson of Gainesboro; companion, Champ Ellis of Gainesboro; nephews, Robert (Misty) Chaffin of Cookeville, Kelly (Brandy) Denson of Gainesboro, Jamie (Misty) Denson of Gainesboro nieces, Susan Ragland of Algood, Ashley (Ronnie) Flatt of Gainesboro; great nephews, Dylan Ragland, Devon Flatt, great nieces, Alexis Smith, Lillian Hope Chaffin, Emma Danielle Chaffin, Isabella Alene Chaffin, Ceciela Lynn Chaffin, Aubrey Belle Denson. Other relatives and many friends also survive. Visitation will be on Monday, Dec. 13, 2021 4-8 pm and again on Tuesday from 10 am to 2 pm. Funeral Services will be conducted on Tuesday, December 14, 2021 at 2 pm in the Chapel of Anderson Upper Cumberland Funeral Home with Bro. Jimmy Anderson officiating. Burial will follow in Pharris Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to the Pharris Cemetery by contacting the funeral home.
