Funeral services for Mr. Jonas E. Lambert, 83, of Granville, Tennessee, will be held at 2 P.M. on Monday, December 13, 2010, at Anderson - Upper Cumberland Funeral Home in Gainesboro, TN. Burial will follow in the Granville Cemetery in Granville, TN. The family will receive friends on Sunday from 1 P.M. - 8 P. M., and on Monday from 10 A.M. until time of services. He passed away on Friday, December 10, 2010, at his residence. He was born June 10, 1927, in Jackson County, TN, to the late Gustis Lambert and Lillian Ragland Lambert. On November 20, 1948, he was married to Dymple Lambert, who survives. He worked in construction and farming. He was a member of the Chestnut Mound Church of Christ, and served in the U.S. Army. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by 1 Son: Richard Lambert; 1 Daughter: Regina Lambert; and 2 Brothers: Elbert Lambert and Bernice Lambert. Survivors include his Wife: Dymple Lambert of Granville, TN; 1 Son: Ricky (Linda) Lambert of Elmwood, TN; 1 Daughter: Ramona Lambert of Gordonsville, TN; 3 Grandchildren: Richard Dewayne (Heather) Lambert, Misty (Stephen) Austin, and Tiffany (Joseph) Fisher; 5 Great- Grandchildren: Jacob, Justin, Carley, Macie, and Kaylie Jo; 1 Great Great Grandchild: Brayden; 1 Brother: Billy Lambert of Gainesboro, TN; and 1 Sister: Valmon Kirby of Gainesboro, TN.
