Johnny Margaret Loftis

Johnny Margaret Loftis , 76, was born January 7, 1948 in Tennessee, and she passed away Thursday, June 27, 2024, at Cookeville Regional Medical Center.  

She was the daughter of the late John Willie Hawkins and Phyllis Margaret Hawkins. She was a retired Teacher’s Assistant. 

On August 31, 1968,she was married to Danny Joe Loftis, who preceded her in death. In addition to her husband she was preceded in death by her parents, her brother David Hawkins, and granddaughter Lucy Lynn Loftis.

Survivors include daughter Jennifer Loftis of Readyville, Tn, sons Jason and Stephen Loftis, both of Gainesboro, Tn. Brothers Jim (Brenda) and Joe (Shirley) Hawkins both of Gainesboro, Tn. Many other relatives and friends survive. 

Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, July 3, 2024, at 1:00 P.M. in the chapel of Anderson Upper Cumberland Funeral Home. Brother Jimmy Anderson will be officiating. Visitation will be held Tuesday, July 2, 2024, from 4:00 to 7:00 P.M. and from 11:00 A.M. , Wednesday, July 3 until time of service. Burial will follow in the John L. Clark Memorial Cemetery. 

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made toward her funeral expenses by contacting the funeral home.
