Funeral services for Mr. Johnny C. Vaughan, 85, of Whitleyville, TN, will be held at 1 P.M. on Monday, August 27, 2018, at Anderson - Upper Cumberland Funeral Home in Gainesboro, TN. Burial will follow in the Rob Draper Memorial Cemetery in Jackson County, TN. The family will receive friends on Monday from 11:30 A.M. until time of services. He passed away on Friday, August 24, 2018, at Cookeville Regional Medical Center. He was born June 27, 1933, in Manchester, TN, to the late James Thomas Vaughan and Molly Levina Vaughan. He was married to Carol Vaughan, who survives. He was a lineman with U.S. Steel, and served in the U.S. Army. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by 1 Daughter: Sheila Vaughan; and several brothers and sisters. Survivors include his Wife: Carol Vaughan of Whitleyville, TN; 2 Sons: Robert Vaughan of Bethel, NC, and Darrell Lyttle of Vale, NC; and 4 Daughters: Debra Vaughan Hollifield, Diane Vaughan Stewart, and Donna Vaughan, all of IN, and Pamela C.
