Funeral services for Johnny B. Collier, 55, of Bloomington Springs, Tennessee, will be held at 2 P.M. on Sunday, October 20, 2013, at Anderson - Upper Cumberland Funeral Home in Gainesboro, TN. Burial will follow in the Collier Family Cemetery in Bloomington Springs, TN. The family will receive friends on Saturday from 3 P.M. - 9 P. M., and Sunday from 9 A.M. until time of services. He passed away on Friday, October 18, 2013 at his residence. He was born March 9, 1958, in Jackson County, TN, to Douglas Collier and the late Mary Jane Huff Collier. He worked at Fleetguard, and was a member of the Double Springs Church of Christ. In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by 3 Infant Brothers; his Paternal Grandparents: Buddy H. Collier and Clara Collier; and his Maternal Grandparents: Haskel Huff and Vennie Huff. Survivors include 1 Son: J. Matthew Collier (Cara) Ferguson of Huntsville, AL; 1 Daughter: Kyndra Nicole Trotter of Cookeville, TN; his Father: Douglas (Thelma) Collier of Bloomington Springs, TN; 2 Brothers: Luther Buddy (Arlene) Collier of Bloomington Springs, TN, and Jimmy (Virginia) Collier of Whitleyville, TN; and 3 Sisters: Bettie Wandalean (James) Earnest of Bloomington Springs, TN, Elloise Keith of Bloomington Springs, TN, and Bonnie (Larry) Meadows of Gainesboro, TN. Several nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends also survive. Bro. Mike Webb and Bro. Jimmy Anderson will officiate at the services.
