Funeral services for Mr. John H. (Johnny) Young, 60, of the Dodson Branch community of Jackson County, Tennessee, will be held at 1 P.M. on Tuesday, November 21, at Anderson - Upper Cumberland Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Burris Cemetery off Cummins Mill Road in Jackson County. The family will receive friends Sunday from 5 - 9 P.M., Monday from 10 A.M. - 9 P.M., and Tuesday from 10 A.M. until time of services at Anderson - Upper Cumberland Funeral Home. Mr. Young passed away on Saturday, November 18, 2006, at NHC Health Care in Cookeville, Tennessee. He was born May 31, 1946, in Jackson County to the late Joe Young & Edna Loftis Young. On April 26, 1969, he was married to Mary M. Young, who survives. Mr. Young was a former employee of the Cookeville Regional Medical Center. He was a member of the Zion Church of Christ. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by 2 Brothers: Joe Lee Young and James Michael Young; 1 Sister: Deborah Young Hunter; and 1 Infant Daughter: Mary Kathleen Young. Survivors include his wife: Mary M. Young of Cookeville, TN; 2 Sons: Kevin (Beth) Young of Baxter, TN and Philip (Michelle) Young of Cookeville, TN; 2 Daughters: Melanie (James) Hammonds of Cookeville, TN and Angela (Gerald) Stewart of Cookeville, TN; 3 Sisters: Maelene (Sammy) Webb of Cookeville, TN, Golda (Cliff) Binkley of Cookeville, TN, and Terri Young of Cookeville; 1 Brother-in-Law: Bobby Hunter of Cookeville, TN; and 15 Grandchildren.
