Funeral services for Mr. John Ray Jarrell, 86, of Ocala, Florida and formerly of Jackson County, Tennessee, will be held at 3 P.M. on Sunday, March 24, 2013, at the Liberty Church of Christ in Granville, TN. Burial will follow in the Granville Cemetery in Granville, TN. He passed away on Sunday, March 17, 2013, in Ocala, Florida. He was born August 22, 1926, in Nashville, TN. He was married to Chris Jarrell, who survives. He was a commercial painting contractor. He served with the U.S. Marine Corps during WWII and was a member of the Central Church of Christ in Ocala, Florida. He was preceded in death by his first wife: Vida Nell Carter Jarrell, who passed away on March 7, 1994. Survivors include his Wife: Chris Jarrell of Ocala, FL; 1 Son: Rob Morgan and wife, Beverly of Hendersonville, TN; 3 Daughters: Sandra and husband, Kenneth Lathrop of Orlando, FL; Vickie and husband, David West of Dade City, FL; and Sharon and husband, Jay Trautman of Ocala, FL; 2 Sisters: Charlene and husband, Stan Smith and Marie Davis, both of Ocala, FL; 6 Grandchildren and 12 Great Grandchildren.
