John R. Billingsley

Funeral services for John R. Billingsley, 53, of Gainesboro, Tennessee, will be held at 12 Noon on Monday, June 28, 2010, at Anderson - Upper Cumberland Funeral Home in Gainesboro, TN. Burial will follow in the Rash Cemetery in the Antioch community of Jackson County. The family will receive friends on Sunday from 5 P.M. - 9 P. M., and on Monday from 9 A.M. until time of services. He passed away on Friday, June 25, 2010, at Cookeville Regional Medical Center in Cookeville, TN. He was born January 8, 1957, in Jackson County, TN, to the late Rupert N. and Dorothy Kirby Billingsley. He was a farmer, and attended Tennessee Tech University. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his Paternal Grandparents: Benton M. and Nancy Whitson Billingsley; and his Maternal Grandparents: Daniel Averett and Eleanor Biggs Kirby. Survivors include 1 Brother: Jerry N. Billingsley of Seabrook, TX; and 1 Niece: Krista Billingsley of Gainesboro, TN. Other relatives and many friends also survive. Bro. Jimmy Anderson and Bro.
