John "Johnny" Taylor

Funeral services for Mr. John T. "Johnny" Taylor, 61, of Bloomington Springs, Tennessee, will be held at 12 Noon on Tuesday, June 8, 2010, at Anderson - Upper Cumberland Funeral Home in Gainesboro, TN. Burial will follow in the Young Cemetery in the Center Grove community of Jackson County. The family will receive friends on Monday from 11 A.M. - 9 P. M., and on Tuesday from 9 A.M. until time of services. He passed away on Saturday, June 5, 2010, at St. Thomas Hospital Alive Hospice in Nashville, TN. He was born August 5, 1948, in Jackson County, TN, to the late James Thomas Taylor and Emily Maude Taylor. He was a factory worker, and a member of the New Salem Church of Christ. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by 1 Brother: David Taylor. Survivors include 2 Sons: Roger Taylor of Joliet, IL, and James & Crystal Taylor of Bloomington Springs, TN; 2 Daughters: Florence Taylor of Cookeville, TN, and Angie & James Robert Taylor of Cookeville, TN; 1 Brother: William (Polly) Taylor of Sparta, TN; and 4 Sisters: Mary (Truman) Vickers and Betty Spurlock, all of Gainesboro, TN; Elizabeth O'Brian and Nancy Sue (Bobby) Hensley, all of Joliet, IL. 12 Grandchildren also survive. Bro. Alan Judd will officiate at the services. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Taylor family by contacting the funeral home.
