Funeral services for Mr. Joel Keith Brown, 78, of Gainesboro, TN, will be held at 1 P.M. on Saturday, April 7, 2018, at Anderson - Upper Cumberland Funeral Home in Gainesboro, TN. Burial will follow in the Maxwell Chapel Cemetery in Hilham, TN. The family will receive friends on Friday from 3 P.M. - 8 P.M., and Saturday from 10 A.M. until time of services. He passed away on Tuesday, April 3, 2018, at St. Thomas West Hospital in Nashville, TN. He was born November 25, 1939, in Hilham, TN, to the late John K. Brown and Lona D. Brown. He was a construction worker. He loved gardening, enjoyed building things, and hard work. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by 4 Brothers: Charles, Roger, Tom, and Melvin Brown; and 1 Sister: Wanda Joyce Ward. Survivors include 2 Sons: Greg K. Brown of Hilham, TN, and Jeramy (Brown) Armonte of Cookeville, TN; 1 Daughter: Tracey Brown of Cookeville, TN; 5 Grandchildren; 1 Great Grandchild; 4 Brothers: William Merle Brown, Edward Brown, Carl Brown, and Jr. Brown; and 4 Sisters: Corrine Albertson, Lois Dial, Doris Ramos, and Kathy Cantrell.
