Funeral services for Mr. Joe Richardson, 84, of Gainesboro, TN, will be held at 2 P.M. on Thursday, August 20, 2015, at Anderson - Upper Cumberland Funeral Home in Gainesboro, TN. Burial will follow in the Pharris Cemetery in the McCoinsville community of Jackson County. The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 4 to 9 P.M. and on Thursday from 10 A.M. until time of services. He passed away on Monday, August 17, 2015, at Cookeville Regional Medical Center in Cookeville, TN. He was born September 5, 1930, in Jackson County, TN, to the late James Nathan and Rosie Lee Lawson Richardson. On November 23, 1954, he was married to Louise Garrison Richardson, who survives. He was a farmer and a member of the McCoinsville Church of Christ. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by 4 Brother and 2 Sisters. Survivors include his Wife: Louise Garrison Richardson of Gainesboro, TN; 1 Son: Bobby (Judith) Richardson of Gainesboro, TN; 3 Daughters: Donna Keeling of Red Boiling Springs, TN and Diana (Shawn) Thomas and Nancy King, both of Gainesboro, TN; 7 Grandchildren: Douglas Wayne Hawkins, Brittany Diana Allison, Amanda Keeling, Brandon Richardson, Courtney Estes, Bethany Richardson, and Justin King; 5 Great-Grandchildren: Douglas Hawkins, Braiden Hawkins, Delaney Hawkins, Skylar Hawkins, and Bayleigh Estes; and 1 Sister: Jane Carter of Cookeville, TN.
