Joe G. Reece

Funeral services for Mr. Joe G. Reece, 69, of Granville, TN, will be held at 3 P.M. on Sunday, August 23, 2015, at Anderson - Upper Cumberland Funeral Home in Gainesboro, TN. Burial will follow in the Richmond Cemetery in the Flynns Lick community of Jackson County. The family will receive friends on Saturday from 3 P.M. until 8 P.M., and on Sunday from 12 Noon until time of services. He passed away on Friday, August 21, 2015, at Riverview Regional Medical Center in Carthage, TN. He was born May 25, 1946, in Jackson County, TN, to the late Charlie Reece and Clara Reece. On October 14, 1972, he was married to Rose Marie Reece, who survives. He was a bulldozer operator, and a member of the Liberty Church of Christ. He loved animals, friends, and family. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by 2 Sisters: Wanda Joyce Reece and Marie Kathy Breeding. Survivors include his Wife: Rose Marie Reece of Granville, TN; 1 Brother: Jimmy (Lora Jean) Reece of Rickman, TN; 2 Sisters: Pamela Breeding of Gainesboro, TN, and Mildred (Mike) Shepherd of Cookeville, TN; 2 Special Nephews: Tim Jackson and Josh Breeding; 1 Sister-in-Law: Patricia (Jackie) Hale of Cookeville, TN; and 1 Brother-in-Law: James Breeding of Gainesboro, TN.
