Joe Edward Young was born on September 16, 1949 in Gainesboro, TN and passed away in Gainesboro on Wednesday, June 25, 2025 at the age of 75.
Joe was the son of Donald A. Young and Mary Elizabeth Nemore Young. Mr. Young was a core driller.
He was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Donna Jean Johnson.
Survived by: sons Timmy "Fatboy" (Laurie) Young of Gainesboro TN, Tony (Clara) Young of Gainesboro TN; daughter Kellie Young of Gainesboro TN; sister Edith Fanning of Xenia OH; grandchildren Kaitlyn (Richard) Ward of Gainesboro TN, Kelsey (Jonathan) Melton of Gainesboro TN, Kaleb Joe Young of Gainesboro TN, Kristen Young of Gainesboro TN, Rayleen Young of Gainesboro TN; great grandchildren Maizee Ward, Haidyn Ward, Silas Melton; Partner, Rhonda Brown of Gainesboro TN; Mother of his children, Velma B. Gentry of Gainesboro TN; Special Friend, Scotty Birdwell and step granddaughter, Caitlin Miller
