Funeral services for Joe Christopher Scott, 53, of Hilham, TN, will be held at 2 P.M. on Friday, August 31, 2018, at Anderson - Upper Cumberland Funeral Home in Gainesboro, TN. Burial will follow in the Lynn Cemetery in Jackson County, TN. The family will receive friends on Friday from 10 A.M. until time of services. He passed away on Monday, August 27, 2018, at Cookeville Regional Medical Center. He was born July 23, 1965, in Gainesboro, TN, to the late Edgar Lushion Scott and Mary Alice Scott. He was married to Renea Scott, who survives. He was an automotive factory worker, and a member of the Dodson Branch Community Church. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by 1 Brother: Edgar Lushion Scott; 1 Nephew: Terry Michael Hoskins; and 1 Niece: Cheri Elise Crabtree. Survivors include his Wife: Renea Scott of Hilham, TN; 3 Sons: Joe Scott II, Jonathon Scott, and Austin Scott, all of Hilham, TN; 2 Daughters: Tasha Scott and husband, Jesse Fuller of Granville, TN, and Amber Tovar and husband, Josh of San Antonio, TX; 8 Grandchildren: Cameron, Anna, Amelia, Joe III, Lyric, Emma, Savanna, and Braxton; 1 Brother: Billy D. Scott of Cookeville, TN; and 3 Sisters: Debbie Scott of Livingston, TN, Glenda Christian of Gainesboro, TN, and Teresia Scott of Livingston, TN. Bro. Eddie Bright will officiate at the services.
