Memorial services for Joe Bull, 61, of Cookeville, Tennessee, will be held at 10 A.M. on Saturday, July 5, 2014, at Anderson - Upper Cumberland Funeral Home in Gainesboro, TN. The family has chosen cremation. The family will receive friends on Saturday from 9 A.M. until time of services. He passed away on Monday, June 30, 2014, at Cookeville Regional Medical Center in Cookeville, TN. He was born February 25, 1953, in Detroit, MI, to the late Billy Bull and Sally Mae Bull. He was a truck driver for Wilson Disposal. He served in the U.S. Marine Corps during the Vietnam Era, and also served in the U.S. Army. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his Paternal Grandparents: George and Mattie Bull; and his Maternal Grandparents: Alfred and Verdie Barlow. Survivors include 2 Sons: Cody Heath (Christie) Bull of Smithland, KY, and James David (Laura) Bull of KY; 3 Grandsons: Jaxson, Chase, and Travis Bull; 2 Brothers: Othel (Sharon) Bull of Marion, IN, and Kenneth (Shirley Ann) Bull of Willis, MI; and 3 Sisters: Sara (Clifford) Phipps of Cookeville, TN, Shirley Elaine Bull, and Brenda (Jimmy) Olson of Stuart, FL.
