Joanna Lynne Adams

Joanna Lynne Adams of Gainesboro was born September 9, 1974 in Gainesboro, TN and she passed away at her residence in Gainesboro on Wednesday, November 11, 2020 at the age of 46. She was the daughter of Carl Franklin Flatt and Rosa Mai Dawes Pharris. She was preceded in death by her adoptive step-father, Garry Adams, step-father, Hugh Lee Pharris, maternal grandparents, Austin Dawes and Lucy Dawes Smith, paternal grandparents, Joe and Ellise Adams. Survivors include special friend, Michael Wilburn of Rickman, mother, Rosie Mae Pharris of Gainesboro; birth father, Carl Franklin Flatt of Bloomington Springs; very special father, Gene Clark Bellar of Gainesboro; brother, Jimmy Dale (Jessica) Adams; uncle, Richard (Carol) Dawes, and cousin Chris Dawes of Cookeville and uncle Charles (Carolina) Dawes and cousins Melissa, Tammy and Michael of Cookeville; special sisters, Carol Pippin and Tonya Stafford; nieces, Maggie and Shelby Adams; special nieces, Christin Widner and Kayla Widner; nephew, Austin Adams and special nephew, Casey Stafford. Visitation will be Saturday, November 14, 2020, 4-8 pm and Sunday, 10 am to 2 pm at Anderson Upper Cumberland Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be 2 pm Sunday, Nov. 15, 2020 in the Chapel of Anderson Upper Cumberland Funeral Home with Bro. Mike Fox officiating. Burial will follow in Smellage Cemetery in the Boma community of Putnam County. In lieu of flowers memorials can be made to assist with funeral expenses by contacting the funeral home.
