Funeral services for Mrs. Joann Jeanine Stone, 85, of Gainesboro, TN, will be held at 2 P.M. on Saturday, October 7, 2017, at Anderson - Upper Cumberland Funeral Home in Gainesboro, TN. Burial will follow in the John L. Clark Memorial Cemetery in the Stone community of Jackson County, TN. The family will receive friends on Saturday from 10 A.M. until time of services. She passed away on Sunday, October 1, 2017, at NHC Healthcare in Sparta, TN. She was born December 7, 1931, in Buffalo, NY, to the late William Johnson and Mary Johnson. She was a home healthcare nurse. She loved crocheting, and making things for her family and friends. Her favorite thing was showering her children and grandchildren with love. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by 3 Grandsons: Rob Stone, Ralphie Stone, and Abraham Stone. Survivors include 5 Sons: Greg Stone, Robert Stone, Kevin Stone, Eric Stone, and Ralph Stone; 4 Daughters: Robynn Stone, Sharon Stephens, Brenda Stone, and Mary Stone; 2 Brothers: William Johnson and John Johnson; 24 Grandchildren; and 23 Great Grandchildren.
