Funeral services for Mrs. JoAnn Heady, 65, of Gainesboro, TN, will be held at 1 P.M. on Thursday, October 15, 2015, at Anderson - Upper Cumberland Funeral Home in Gainesboro, TN. Burial will follow in the John L. Clark Memorial Cemetery in the Stone community of Jackson County, TN. The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 5 P.M. to 9 P.M., and on Thursday from 9 A.M. until time of services. She passed away on Monday, October 12, 2015, at Cookeville Regional Medical Center in Cookeville, TN. She was born March 27, 1950, in Jackson County, TN, to Ruth Carmack and the late Winton Spivey. On December 23, 1966, she was married to Roland Heady, who survives. She was a factory worker at Nielsen, and a member of the Church of Christ. In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by 1 Son: Steve Heady; and 1 Brother: Harold Spivey. Survivors include her Husband: Roland Heady of Gainesboro, TN; 1 Daughter: Sonia Boyington of Gainesboro, TN; her Mother: Ruth Carmack of Gainesboro, TN; 2 Grandchildren: Ashley Boyington and Austin Dyer; 1 Great Grandson: Garrett Dukes; 1 Brother: Lonnie Spivey of Gainesboro, TN; and 1 Sister: Betty McKee of Sparta, TN.
