Funeral services for Mrs. Jo Poston, 84, of Gainesboro, TN, will be held at 12 Noon on Monday, October 15, 2018, at Anderson - Upper Cumberland Funeral Home in Gainesboro, TN. Burial will follow in the John L. Clark Memorial Cemetery in the Stone community of Jackson County, TN. The family will receive friends on Sunday from 2 P.M. - 7 P.M., and Monday from 10 A.M. until time of services. She passed away on Friday, October 12, 2018, at St. Thomas Hospital West in Nashville, TN. She was born February 16, 1934, in Gainesboro, TN, to the late Marion Smith and Sally Casteel Smith. On October 23, 1954, she was married to Harlin Poston, who survives. She was a sales clerk at Yvonne's Flowers in Gainesboro, TN, and a member of the Church of Christ. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by 4 Sisters: Unice Hall, Vera Brown, Mae Pharris, and Lora Bailey; 2 Brothers: Floyd Smith and Junior Smith; and Granddog: Buckwheat. Survivors include her Husband: Harlin Poston of Gainesboro, TN; 1 Daughter: Linda (Eddie) Vantrease of Lebanon, TN; 2 Brothers: Jack Smith and James Bailey both of Gainesboro, TN; 4 Sisters: Eva Fox of Gainesboro, TN, Joyce Ann Smith, Betty Smith, and Margaret Smith; 9 Nieces: Carolyn, Anita, Wanda, Wilma, Peggy, Glenda, Linda Jo, Betty, and Carolyn; 7 Nephews: Ronnie, Boyd, Billy, Bobby, Dennis, Charlie, and Rex; Special Friends: Ray and Bunie Stafford, Randy, Shawn, and Neyland Spivey; and Granddog: Gracie.
