Jo Helen "Jody" Keith

 Jo Helen (Denton) Keith was born September 27, 1936 in Gainesboro, Tennessee. She passed peacefully from this life on Sunday morning, January 14, 2024.

She was the daughter of the Mascus and Vera Denton. She married the late Donald Hall Keith on January 30, 1954. They lived together for over thirty years on Barberton, Ohio, working until retirement when they returned to Jackson County, Tennessee.  She was a faithful member at Gainesboro Church of Christ, and attended the ladies bible class. She enjoyed bowling in Ohio, but not after moving back to Tennessee.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Donald, and brothers- in-law and sister-in-laws.

Survivors include: Jeff & Kathy Keith, Vickie & Mike Fox, Jason & Tory Lawrence; Amy & Jarid Brooks, and former son-in-law Ralph Lawrence. Many other friends and relatives also survive.

Funeral service will be held on Sunday, January 21, 2024, at 2 pm in the chapel of Anderson Upper Cumberland Funeral Home in Gainesboro, TN. Visitation will be held from 3 pm to 6 pm on Saturday, January 20, 2024, and from noon until time of service at 2 pm on Sunday,  January 21, 2024. Burial will follow at the John L. Clark Memorial Cemetery  in Jackson County, TN. Bro. Mike Fox will be officiating.
