Funeral services for Mrs. Jo Helen Roberts Bowman Stewart, 88, of Cookeville, Tennessee, will be held at 11 A.M. on Wednesday, May 28, 2014, at Anderson - Upper Cumberland Funeral Home in Gainesboro, TN. Burial will follow in the Pharris Cemetery in the McCoinsville community of Jackson County, TN. The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 4 P.M. - 7 P.M., and on Wednesday from 10 A.M. until time of services. She passed away on Sunday, May 25, 2014, at Bethesda Health Care Center in Cookeville, TN. She was born July 5, 1925, in Jackson County, TN, to the late Joe Bryan Roberts and Tennie Mai Roberts. She was married to the late Ralph Bowman and Lawrence Stewart. She was the former owner/operator of Odie's Drive-In, and a member of the Sycamore Church of Christ. In addition to her husbands and parents, she was preceded in death by 3 Brothers: Edward Roberts, Jack Roberts, and Danny Roberts; and 1 Sister: Mabel Bussell. Survivors include 1 Son: Billie Bowman and wife, Dianne, of Cookeville, TN; 1 Daughter: Betty VanHooser and husband, Joe Frank, of Biloxi, MS; 5 Grandchildren: Melodie (Mike) Durlak, Donna (Tommy) Bowman-Phy, Kimberly (Scott) Wood, Joe Frank VanHooser, Jr., and Billy Joe (Alicia) Bowman; 12 Great Grandchildren: Tara Junkert, Tabitha Junkert, Lacie Rice, Jonathan Rice, Kaila Wood, Garrett Wood, Jessica Green, Amber Green, Christopher Joe VanHooser, Noah Tyler VanHooser, Logan Bowman, and Sydney Bowman; and 2 Great Great Grandchildren: Gage Green and Kaden Whittington.
