Funeral services for Ms. Jo Ann Dennis, 75, of Gainesboro, TN, will be held at 3 P.M. on Sunday, April 16, 2017, at Anderson - Upper Cumberland Funeral Home in Gainesboro, TN. Burial will follow in the Welch Cemetery in the New Salem community of Jackson County, TN. The family will receive friends on Saturday from 3 to 9 P.M. and on Sunday from 1 P.M. until time of services. She passed away on Thursday, April 13, 2017, at Cookeville Regional Medical Center. She was born April 18, 1941, in Soddy-Daisy, TN, to the late Robert and Lola Uren. She was a homemaker, and a member of the Burristown Church of Christ. She was a loving mother and grandmother. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by 1 Son: Anthony Dennis; 1 Daughter: Sharon Dyer; 1 Brother: Johnny Wayne Uren and 2 Sisters: Wanda Fay White and Judy Kay Edmonds. Survivors include 2 Sons: Michael Dennis and Robert Dennis, both of Gainesboro, TN; 1 Daughter: Lola Boulan of Michigan; 10 Grandchildren and 15 Grandchildren; and 2 Brothers: James Uren and Ray Allen Uren, both of Soddy-Daisy, TN.
