J.L. Cherry

J.L. Cherry was born April 13, 1945, in Clay County, TN and he passed away on Monday, November 6, 2023 at Cookeville Regional Medical Center at the age of 78.

He was the son of the late Estes Cherry and Irene Moore Cherry. He was married to the late Brenda Cherry. He was a maintenance worker, and a member of the Richmond Chapel Church of Christ. He was a resident of Gainesboro, TN.

In addition to his wife and parents, he was preceded in death by his Sister: Wanda; and Brothers: Willis and Ricky.

Survivors include his Daughters: Kim Bove of La Vergne, TN, and Leigh Ann Billups of KY; Brothers: Harold Cherry, Derral Cherry, and Bobby Cherry; and Grandchildren: Lisa Bove and Hailey Bove.

The family has chosen cremation, with no services at this time.
