Funeral services for Mr. Jimmy Joe Roberts, 70, of Pleasant Shade, Tennessee, will be held at 12 Noon on Monday, June 7, 2010, at Anderson - Upper Cumberland Funeral Home in Gainesboro, TN. Burial will follow in the Rob Draper Memorial Cemetery in the Stone community of Jackson County. The family will receive friends on Sunday from 2 P.M. - 9 P. M., and on Monday from 9 A.M. until time of services. He passed away on Friday, June 4, 2010, at Hartsville Convalescent Center in Hartsville, TN. He was born August 23, 1939, in Jackson County, TN, to the late Lovell Tee Roberts and Grady Denton Roberts. On April 20, 1960, he was married to Tiewonia J. Roberts, who survives. He was a pipe fitter, and a member of Plumbers & Pipefitters Local 572. He attended the Wartrace United Methodist Church. Survivors include his Wife: Tiewonia J. Roberts of Pleasant Shade, TN; 2 Sons: Jimmy (Kim) Roberts of Hendersonville, TN; and Daryl (Shelia) Roberts of Gainesboro, TN; 1 Daughter: Gina (Bob) Stangenberg of Carthage, TN; and 5 Grandchildren: Kayla Roberts and fianc, John Duncan; Jared (Audra) Stangenberg; Matthew Roberts; D.J.
