Funeral services for Mr. Jimmy E. McMillan, 77, of Gainesboro, Tennessee, will be held at 11 A.M. on Thursday, September 3, 2009, at Anderson - Upper Cumberland Funeral Home in Gainesboro, TN. Burial will follow in the John L. Clark Memorial Cemetery in the Stone community of Jackson County, TN. The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 3 P.M. - 9 P.M., and Thursday from 10 A.M. until time of services. Mr. McMillan passed away on Monday, August 31, 2009, at Cookeville Regional Medical Center in Cookeville, TN. He was born April 29, 1932, in Coal Valley, Alabama, to the late Boyd and Lola Powell McMillan. On May 11, 1957, he was married to Shirley Jones McMillan, who survives. He was a pressing supervisor at Racoe in Lafayette, TN, and a member of the Lakeview Church of Christ. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by 3 Brothers: Bil, Charles Kenneth, and Walter Holley McMillan; and 1 Sister: Rebecca McMillan. Survivors include his Wife: Shirley Jones McMillan of Gainesboro, TN; 2 Sons: Kenneth J. (Sherrie) McMillan and Rodney Earnest (Tammie) McMillan, all of Gainesboro, TN; 4 Grandchildren: Andrea, Rebecca, Drew, and Marcus McMillan; 1 Brother: Kelsey (Myra) McMillan of Oakman, AL; and 1 Sister: Camellia Reviere of Birmingham, AL.
