Funeral services for Jimmy Dale Pigg, 68, of Whitleyville, TN, will be held at 2 P.M. on Monday, June 8, 2015, at Anderson - Upper Cumberland Funeral Home in Gainesboro, TN. Burial will follow in the Pigg Family Cemetery in the Fairview community of Jackson County, TN. The family will receive friends on Monday from 10 A.M. until time of services. He passed away on Saturday, June 6, 2015, at Cookeville Regional Medical Center. He was born April 27, 1947, in Jackson County, TN, to the late Johnny Brown and Dorothy Brown. He was married to Mary Pigg, who survives. He was a mower and handyman. Survivors include his Wife: Mary Pigg of Whitleyville, TN; 2 Brothers: Jerry Brown and Johnny Brown; 2 Sisters; and 1 Brother-in-Law: Earl Roberts of Nashville, TN. Bro. Jimmy Anderson and Bro. Danny Scott will officiate at the services. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to help with funeral expenses by contacting the funeral home.
