Funeral services for Mr. Jimmy D. Gentry, 65, of Gainesboro, Tennessee, will be held at 1 P.M. on Sunday, June 8, 2014, at Anderson - Upper Cumberland Funeral Home in Gainesboro, TN. Burial will follow in the John L. Clark Memorial Cemetery in the Stone community of Jackson County, TN. The family will receive friends on Saturday from 10 A.M. - 8 P.M., and on Sunday from 10 A.M. until time of services. He passed away on Thursday, June 5, 2014, at Cookeville Regional Medical Center in Cookeville, TN. He was born April 17, 1949, in Jackson County, TN, to Donald Gentry and the late Wilma McDowell Gentry. On July 23, 1970, he was married to Ann Gentry, who survives. He was the retired owner and operator of Gentry's Electronics. He was a member of the Center Grove Church of Christ, and Tannehill Lodge #133 of Gainesboro, TN. He was preceded in death by his Mother: Wilma Gentry. Survivors include his Wife: Ann Gentry of Gainesboro, TN; 1 Son: J.D. Gentry, M.D. and wife, Lauren, of Lexington, KY; 3 Daughters: Toni and husband Tyrone Bowman, Terri and husband, Mark Collins, and Tiffany and husband, Josh Gipson, all of Gainesboro, TN; 9 Grandchildren: Uriah, Zachary, Mallory, and Garret Bowman; Rebecca and Cassidy Collins; Allie and Gracie Gipson; and Jimmy D.
