Jimmy Barlow

James Edward Barlow was born April 1, 1962 in Jackson County, TN and he passed away on Friday, May 31, 2024 at Skyline Medical Center in Nashville at the age of 62.

Jimmy was the son of Shirley Odell Barlow and Barbara Faye Massingill Barlow. Jimmy was a paramedic of 35 years working in many Upper Cumberland counties. He was a member of the Standing Stone Praise and Worship Church. On November 8, 2003 he was married to Debbie Sue Vibbert for a total of 20 years of marriage.

He was preceded in death by his father; sister, Joy Barlow Fiolek and nephew Kyle Sisco.

Survivors include his wife, Debbie Barlow of Hilham; sons, Cody (Kelsey) Barlow of Baxter and Aiden Barlow of Hilham; daughters, Sarah (J.R.) Kinnaird of Cookeville and Louanna Barlow of Bloomington Springs; Step Children: Dustin (Joni) Vibbert of Valparaiso, IN; ; Trentin (Erika) Bemount of Cookeville and Chrissy Bass of Hilham; mother, Barbara Barlow of Gainesboro; brother, Joe D. Barlow of Gainesboro; sister, Joan Sisco of Gainesboro; grandchildren, Alexis Grace Wallace, Charly Beth Kinnaird and Hunter Clyde Barlow; Step Grandchildren: Shayla Kinnaird, Kallie Rae Vibbert, Dawson Brown, Lillyana Vibbert and Griffith Michael Gentry; special niece, Kayla Sisco and special great niece, Addi Whitaker along with other relatives, friends and co-workers also survive.

Visitation will be on Monday, June 3, 2024, 4-8 pm and Tuesday, June 4, 10 am to 1 pm at Anderson Upper Cumberland Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted on Tuesday, June 4, 2024 at 1 pm in the chapel of Anderson Upper Cumberland Funeral Home with Pastor Donnie Bull officiating. Burial will follow in John L. Clark Memorial Cemetery.
