Funeral services for Mr. "Jim" James M. McCoin, 87, of Gainesboro, TN, will be held at 2 P.M. on Saturday, November 21, 2015, at Anderson - Upper Cumberland Funeral Home in Gainesboro, TN. Burial will follow in the John L. Clark Memorial Cemetery in the Stone community of Jackson County, TN. The family will receive friends on Saturday from 10 A.M. until time of services. He passed away on Thursday, November 19, 2015, at Cookeville Regional Medical Center in Cookeville, TN. He was born August 31, 1928, in Jackson County, TN, to the late Averette and Martha Ann McCoin. He was married to Freeda McCoin, who survives. He was an engineering supervisor at Twin Lakes Telephone Co., and served in the U.S. Army. He was preceded in death by his Parents: Averette and Martha Ann McCoin. Survivors include his Wife: Freeda McCoin of Celina, TN; 4 Daughters: Leslie McCoin (Steve) Trojcak of Cookeville, TN, Jennifer Neale of Nashville, TN, Marsha Stubben of Nashville, TN, and Brandi McCoin Martinez of Houston, TX; 8 Grandchildren: Samuel Carlton, Jr., Carmen Trojcak, Stephanie Porter, Jessica Whitehouse, Chase Martinez, Cullen Martinez, Angela Bonds, and Will Knight; and several Great Grandchildren.
