Jim "JL" Lynn

Jim “JL” Lynn was born February 6, 1953, in Jackson County, TN and he passed away on Friday, February 24, 2023 at his residence in Baxter, TN at the age of 70.

He was the son of the late George Flynn Lynn and Jamie Louise Weaver Lynn. On May 11, 1973, he was married to Debbie Lynn, who survives. He was retired from Putnam County EMS, and was baptized into Christ.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his Sister and Brother-in-law: Margaret and Jerry Eads; and Grandchild: Jaxon Lynn.

Survivors include his Wife: Debbie Lynn of Baxter, TN; Son: Chris (Amanda) Lynn of the Wartrace community; Brothers: Johnny Lynn of Celina, TN, and Jack Lynn of Nashville, TN; and Grandchildren: Kaelyn Lynn and Brantley Lynn of Gainesboro, TN, and Justice Whitaker of the Wartrace community.

Visitation will be Saturday, March 4, 2023, from 11 A.M. – 1 P.M. at Anderson Upper Cumberland Funeral Home. The family has chosen cremation, with private interment.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Lynn family by contacting the funeral home.
