Jewell Pippin

Jewell Pippin was born October 19, 1930, in Jackson County, TN and she passed away on Saturday, September 14, 2024, at her residence in the Shiloh Community at the age of 93.

She was the daughter of the late Tom D. Allen and Ora P. Hensley Pippin. She married Mr. Johhny William Pippin in 1953, where they shared 70 years together. Jewell was a member of the Shiloh Church of Christ.

Preceded in death by her parents: Tom Allen and Ora P. Hensley Pippin; husband: Johnny Pippin; son: Gary Pippin; and grandson: Shane Pippin.

Survivors include her sons: Johnny (Tena) Pippin of Whitleyville, TN, Gerald (Linda) Pippin of Cookeville, TN; daughter: Kathy (Chris) Maranta; grandchildren: Dewayne Pippin, Brandy Pippin, Jeremy Pippin, Jonathan Pippin, Taylor Miller, Shalyn Pippin, Will Pippin, and Bobby Dale Pippin; great grandchildren: Kayden Pippin, Jocelyn Pippin, Emmitt Pippin, Kayley Stewart, Ava Roberts, Gavin Steinbrenner and Blain Steinbrenner. Numerous cousins and other family members along with friends also survive.

Graveside services will be conducted on Tuesday, September 17, 2024, at 12 pm at John Young Cemetery with Bro. Jimmy Anderson officiating.
