Funeral services for Mrs. Jewell (Judy) Brown, 86, of Gainesboro, Tennessee, will be held at 1 P.M. on Friday, December 29, 2006, at Anderson - Upper Cumberland Funeral Home in Gainesboro, TN. Burial will follow in the New Salem Cemetery in the New Salem community of Jackson County. The family will receive friends on Friday from 10 A.M. until time of services. Mrs. Brown passed away on Tuesday, December 26, 2006, at the Cookeville Regional Medical Center. She was born February 27, 1920, in Montgomery County, TN, to the late Robert & Lillian Castleberry Darnell. She was married to the late Tommy Brown. She was an employee of Stillman Mfg. and was a beloved member of her community and factory. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by 1 Son: Kenneth Brown; 1 Sister: Mable Watson; and 1 Brother: Clyde Darnell. . Survivors include 1 Granddaughter: Carmelita Brown. A host of nieces and nephews from Montgomery County, TN, also survive. . Bro. Jimmy Anderson will officiate at the services. Pallbearers: David Darnell, Bobby Darnell, Jr., Jarod Watson, Dewayne Biemesderfer, John Biemesderfer, Brien Dill, Anthony Johnson, Dillon Biemesderfer, Ricky Brown, and Josh Biemesderfer.
