Jessie Ray Collier

Jessie Ray Collier, better known as “Bubba”, 54, of the Flynns Lick community of Jackson County, TN, passed away on Friday, August 21, 2020, at Cookeville Regional Medical Center. He was born October 2, 1965, in Davidson County, TN, to Claude R. Collier and the late Alvelda Nugent Collier. He was a retired truck driver. In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by his grandparents. Survivors include 1 Son: Josh Ray Collier of Gainesboro, TN; 2 Daughters: Mary Louise Durflinger and Heather Sue Wood, both of Gainesboro, TN; his Father: Claude R. Collier of Red Boiling Springs, TN; his Step Mother: Patricia B. Collier of Red Boiling Springs, TN; Half Brothers: Steve Hargrove and Ronnie Hargrove; Half Sister: Rica Hargrove; and Grandchildren: Savanna Lewis and Jaykob Stacey. The cremated remains will be buried in the Collier Family Cemetery on Sunday, September 6, 2020 at 1 pm with Bro. Jimmy Anderson officiating.
