Funeral services for Jessica Danille Dawes, 22, of Gainesboro, Tennessee, will be held at 2 P.M. on Saturday, September 1, 2012, at Anderson - Upper Cumberland Funeral Home in Gainesboro, TN. Burial will follow in the Pleasant Hill Cemetery in the Pleasant Hill community of Jackson County, TN. The family will receive friends on Friday from 4 P.M. - 9 P. M., and on Saturday from 10 A.M. until time of services. She passed away on Wednesday, August 29, 2012 at her residence. She was born April 27, 1990, in Cookeville, TN, to Regina Kirby and the late Sammy Dawes. She was a homemaker. In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her Maternal Grandfather: Ralph R. Ragland; her Paternal Grandfather: Bobby Dawes; and her Step-Grandfather: Billy Kirby. Survivors include her Daughter: Samantha Morgan Sturgill; her Mother: Regina (Billy) Kirby of Silver Point, TN; 2 Brothers: Justin Ray Dawes and his wife, Jessica, of Gainesboro, TN, and Tucker Lee Kirby of Silver Point, TN; 2 Sisters: Harley Grace Kirby of Silver Point, TN, and Tiffany Danielle Kirby of Gainesboro, TN; her Maternal Grandmother: Judy G. Ragland of Gainesboro, TN; and her Paternal Grandmother: Jimmie Kirby of Silver Point, TN. Several aunts, uncles, other relatives, and friends also survive. Bro.
