Mr. Jerry Wayne Ashburn, 61, of Crossville, Tennessee, passed away on Friday, May 14, 2010, at St. Thomas Hospital in Nashville, TN. The family has chosen cremation, and no funeral services are planned at this time. He was born October 2, 1948, in Crossville, TN, to the late Arthur and Effie Mae Ashburn. On April 17, 1969, he was married to the late Linda Gail Ashburn. He was a truck driver. In addition to his wife and parents, he was preceded in death by 2 Sisters: Linda Gail Ashburn and Jullene Baily Ashburn; 1 Half-Sister: Doris Nafe; and 4 Brothers: William Hal Ashburn, Walter Cleston Ashburn, Terry Lee Ashburn, and Bobby Ray Ashburn. Survivors include 2 Sons: Jerry Lynn (Eva) Ashburn of Crossville, TN, and Doug (Brandi) Ashburn of Cookeville, TN; and 4 Grandchildren: Parker Lynn Ashburn and Joy Marie Ashburn of Crossville, TN, Ashlee Rebecca Baker of Cookeville, TN, and Joseph Timmons of Columbus, Ohio.
