Funeral services for Mr. Jerry T. Pennington, 69, of Hilham, TN, will be held at 1 P.M. on Wednesday, November 29, 2017, at Anderson - Upper Cumberland Funeral Home in Gainesboro, TN. Burial will follow in the Berry Cemetery on New Hope Road in Jackson County, TN. The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 5 P.M. - 9 P.M., and on Wednesday from 9 A.M. until time of services. He passed away on Sunday, November 26, 2017, at his residence. He was born February 14, 1948, in Celina, TN, to the late Charlie Pennington and Opal Pennington. He was a factory worker. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by 3 Brothers: Ray, Joe, and David Pennington. Survivors include his Beloved Companion: Patsy Hawkins of Hilham, TN; 1 Son: Doug (Robin) Hawkins of Cookeville, TN; 2 Daughters: Jackie Hill of Cookeville, TN, and Jennifer (James) Brown of Cookeville, TN; 4 Brothers: Eddie (Cheryl) Pennington of Indianapolis, IN, Fowler (Sue) Pennington of Livingston, TN, Randy (Michelle) Pennington of Celina, TN, and Estus (Erlene) Pennington of Celina, TN; 2 Sisters: Minnie "Cricket" Goolsby and Janet (Ronnie) Fields, both of Cookeville, TN; his Best Friends: Joe Felix and Wayne Rich; 9 Grandchildren; and 9 Great Grandchildren.
