Funeral services for Mr. Jerry Nelson Billingsley, 60, of Gainesboro, Tennessee, will be held at 11 A.M. on Friday, November 8, 2013, at Anderson - Upper Cumberland Funeral Home in Gainesboro, TN. Burial will follow in the Rob Draper Memorial Cemetery in the Stone Community of Jackson County, TN. The family will receive friends on Thursday from 4 P.M. - 8 P.M., and Friday from 9 A.M. until time of services. He passed away on Tuesday, November 5, 2013 at his residence in Gainesboro, TN. He was born December 9, 1952, in Jackson County, TN, to the late Rupert Nelson Billingsley and Dorothy Kirby Billingsley. He worked as a manager in the hotel and restaurant business. He was a member of the McCoinsville Church of Christ. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by: 1 Brother: John Robert Billingsley, Paternal Grandparents: Benton M. and Nancy Whitson Billingsley, and Maternal Grandparents: Daniel Averett and Eleanor Biggs Kirby. Survivors include 1 Daughter: Krista Billingsley of Gainesboro, TN. Bro. Jimmy Anderson will officiate at the services. Memorial donations may be made to the Stop Smoking Class at CRMC that meets on Thursdays from 6 to 7 P.M. and is sponsored by the American Cancer Society, or the Cancer Foundation at CRMC, or the American Lung Association by contacting the business office of the funeral home.
