Jerry M. Gentry

Jerry McCoin Gentry was born April 10, 1955 in Dayton, OH and he passed away on Saturday, April 5, 2025 at his residence in Cookeville at the age of 69.  

Mr. Jerry was the son of Coy Lee Gentry and Dimple Avo Ballard Gentry.  He was a member of the Jefferson Ave. Church of Christ and a factory worker.  He loved to fish and play his guitar.  He was a 1973 graduate of Stivers High School in Dayton, OH

He was preceded in death by his parents and wife Doris Gentry.

Survivors include his brother, Ken (Serena) Gentry of Medway, OH; sister, Brenda Spratt of Cookeville; nieces and nephews along with other relatives and friends also survive.

Memorial services will be conducted on Saturday, April 12, 2025 at 12 noon in the chapel of Anderson Upper Cumberland Funeral Home with Bro. Mike Fox officiating.  Burial will follow in Hensley Cemetery.
