Funeral services for Mr. Jerry Edward Stewart, 47, of Gainesboro, Tennessee, will be held at 2 P.M. on Thursday, July 3, 2008, at Anderson - Upper Cumberland Funeral Home in Gainesboro, TN. Burial will follow in the John L. Clark Memorial Cemetery in the Stone community of Jackson County. The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 2 P.M. - 9 P.M., and on Thursday from 10 A.M until time of services. He was born June 12, 1961, in Jackson County, Tennessee, to Lewis E. and Claudine Stewart. On July 2, 1982, he was married to Tammy Bybee Stewart, who survives. He was a machinist, and a member of the Hurricane Church of Christ. He was preceded in death by his Paternal Grandparents: Henry and Mattie Stewart; and his Maternal Grandparents: Robert and Pauline Hamlet. Survivors include his Wife: Tammy Bybee Stewart of Gainesboro, TN; 1 Son: Seth Monroe Stewart of Gainesboro, TN; 1 Daughter: Emily Sue Stewart of Gainesboro, TN; his Parents: Lewis E. and Claudine Stewart of Gainesboro, TN; his Father-in-Law and Mother-in-Law: Bill and Frances Bybee of Cookeville, TN; 1 Sister and Brother-in-Law: Teresia and Larry Gentry of Gainesboro, TN; 3 Nephews: Matthew Gentry, Michael Bybee, and Cole McDaniel; 2 Nieces: Ashley Bybee and Leah Bybee; and 2 Brothers-in-Law & their wives: James W. (Linda) Bybee and Marc (Jennifer) Bybee. Bro. James W. Bybee will officiate at the services.
