Jerry D. Goolsby

Jerry D. Goolsby was born on September 9, 1951 in Baxter, Tennessee and he passed from this life at sunset on Sunday, September 6, 2020 at the age of 68. Mr. Goolsby was the son of Claude Cecil Goolsby and Virginia Margaret Pippin Goolsby. He was a retired business owner and a member of Woodmen of the World. He was a resident of the Bloomington Springs community in Jackson County. Jerry was preceded in death by his parents as well as a brother, Wesley Claude Goolsby and girlfriend, Jacqueline Peci. Survivors include a daughter and son-in-law, Rachel and Jonas Moen of Dodson Branch; four grandchildren, Rachel Elaine Randolph, Cecilia Alexis Goolsby, Gabriel Justice Moen, Freedom Grayc Moen and many friends. Donations are welcomed to assist with funeral expenses. Memorial services will be held on Saturday, September 19, 2020, at 10 A.M. at Anderson Upper Cumberland Funeral Home, with Bro. Jimmy Anderson officiating. Burial will follow in the Crest Lawn Memorial Cemetery in Cookeville, TN. Visitation will be Friday, September 18, from 4 P.M. - 8 P.M. at the funeral home.
