Funeral services for Mr. Jerry A. Robbins, 69, of Gainesboro, TN, will be held at 7 P.M. on Saturday, August 20, 2016, at Anderson - Upper Cumberland Funeral Home in Gainesboro, TN. The family has chosen cremation, with interment in the Pharris Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Saturday from 1 P.M. until time of services. He passed away on Wednesday, August 17, 2016, at his residence. He was born June 12, 1947, in Jackson County, TN, to the late Marion Alvis Robins and Grace Wilmoth Robins. On June 15, 1994, he was married to Darlene Robbins, who survives. He was a truck driver, and loved playing music, collecting fast cars, and spending time with family. He served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam Era. He was preceded in death by his Parents: Marion Alvis and Grace Wilmoth Robins; and 1 Daughter-in-Law: Eva Mae Ingram. Survivors include his Wife: Darlene Robbins of Gainesboro, TN; 1 Step-Son: Mike (Dana) Ingram of Gainesboro, TN; 1 Son: Jerry Alvis Robins, Jr. of Orlinda, TN; 1 Daughter: Rachel Gentry of Cookeville, TN; 3 Grandchildren: Kane Ingram, Alyssa Robins, and Sky Williams Dawes; and Jimmy Davidson and Jeff Emerton, who Jerry loved and raised as his own sons.
