Funeral services for Mrs. Jerrie A. Hawkins Duke, 55, of the Nameless Community of Jackson County will be held at 11 A.M. on Monday, November 15, 2010, at Anderson - Upper Cumberland Funeral Home in Gainesboro, TN. Burial will follow in the Curry's Chapel Cemetery in the Nameless community of Jackson County. The family will receive friends on Saturday from 2 P.M. - 9 P. M., on Sunday from 1 P.M. to 9 P.M., and on Monday from 9 A. M. until time of services. She passed away on Thursday, November 11, 2010 at her residence. She was born December 16, 1954, in Jackson County, TN, to the late Arville and Thelma Lawson Hawkins. On August 16, 1974, she was married to Stanley Duke who survives. She was a Christian, a homemaker, and a resident of the Nameless community. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by 2 Brothers: Billy Howard Hawkins and Herby Hawkins Survivors include her Husband: Stanley Duke of the Nameless Community; 1 Sister: Tina and husband Gary Rittenberry of Cookeville, TN; 1 Brother-in-law: Randy Duke and wife Diane of Gainesboro, TN; 1 Sister-in-law: Tammy Franklin of the Nameless community ; 3 Nephews: Joey Franklin of the Nameless community, Kevin Hawkins of Cookeville, TN; and Daniel Neal and wife Shannon of Cookeville, TN; 7 Nieces: Tonya and husband Mark Murphy of Red Boiling Springs, TN; Tiffany and husband Matthew Spivey of Gainesboro, TN; Melissa and husband Steve Walker of Cookeville, TN; Amy and husband Jamie Jones of Gainesboro, TN; Misty and husband Austin Bateman of Paris, TN; Becky Diane Duke of Gainesboro, TN; and Kayla Sloan of Gainesboro, TN; Special Cousin: Darlene and husband Gerald Neal of Cookeville, TN; and Special Friends: Kenny and Barbara Walden of Cookeville, TN. Several great nieces and nephews and other friends and close friends also survive. Bro. Jimmy Anderson will officiate at the services.
