Graveside services for Jemmie Elaine Mathis, 76, of Gainesboro, TN, will be held on Sunday, December 6, 2020, at 2 P.M. at the Pharris Cemetery in the McCoinsville community of Jackson County, TN. There will be no visitation or services at the funeral home. She passed away on Friday, December 4, 2020, at Cookeville Regional Medical Center. She was born April 18, 1944, in Jackson County, TN, to the late Jim F. Mathis and Lillie Mae Stafford Mathis. She was a factory worker. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by 1 Sister: Judy Johnson; 1 Sister in Law: Lassie Mathis; and 1 Brother in Law: Bobby Johnson. Survivors include 2 Brothers: Harold Mathis and Jackie (Shirley) Mathis, all of Gainesboro, TN; and 2 Sisters: Lena Mai Davis of Gainesboro, TN, and Janice Cole of Cookeville, TN. Other relatives and many friends also survive. Bro. Mike Fox will officiate at the services.
